The workshop covered the themes of the NACF¡¯s success & management systems, understanding women¡¯s roles in agriculture, and opportunities for relationship building and exchange of ideas between nations. Twenty-one people were in attendance.
The first day of the workshop was taken up with the opening ceremony, lectures and presentations by the participants and their country reports. Mr. KIM, Jae-Bok, the Executive Vice President of the NACF and also the president of the NACF Research Institute delivered the opening address. Participants then a looked at the success of the NACF as a case study, and an introduction to the NACF¡¯s banking and Marketing & Supplies business followed.
Visits on the second and third days were to Guseong Nonghyup in Yongin, to a Hanaro-mart branch retail store, and to the Daegwallyeong Horticultural Cooperative.
The last day of the workshop was taken up by visits to Nonghyup¡¯s Agricultural Cooperative College, Samsong-dong, and to a agricultural marketing center in Goyang-city.
